Kristen Kellems
Kristen Kellems began her legal career as a legislative attorney for the Kansas State Legislature. After moving to Eugene, Oregon, she joined the University of Oregon as a faculty member in the Early Childhood Education Department, focusing on educational policy and supporting community legal non-profits in assisting indigent elderly individuals. After obtaining her Utah law license, Kellems joined Timpanogos Legal Center, specializing in family law. She also served as BYU’s Research Development Director for four years, helping faculty secure external research funding.
Kellems recently completed a remote internship with the University of Washington’s Gallagher Law Library. She holds a JD from Washburn University School of Law, a BA from Brigham Young University, and she is pursuing a master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington.
