Messages from the President

12/13/2011

As another year comes to a close and the Christmas season quickly approaches, I would, on behalf of the A.A.H.P. Executive, Board and Staff, wish each of you and your families a safe and wonderful Christmas. Take some time over the Holidays to reflect on your many accomplishments over the past year and your valuable contribution to making life better for the hundreds of individuals and families you have seen in our health care system. Continue to take pride in your work and realize that your contribution does not go unnoticed. While we often feel we do not get the recognition we deserve, the improved quality of life of a client, because of your efforts, often says it all.

As a Union, the new year promises many challenges, including the expiration of our collective agreement and a new round of collective bargaining. I look forward to your input and ask that you stay Strong in seeking what you justly deserve. Remember our doors are always open to you,and our staff and their expertise are only a telephone call away. Do not hesitate to make contact should you have any issue of concern. Our members are our priority, and because of you, A.A.H.P. continues to strengthen its credibility as a Union of preference for employees, employer and Government.

Again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Bruce Callahan
President-A.A.H.P.
