Today one of the largest telethons was held by Steele Communications to help in Aid to Haiti.   I was honored on behalf of the Association of Allied Health Professionals to present a donation in the amount of $1500.00.  Our donation has been made in the memory of Jim Coates, a Newfoundlander who died in the earthquake in Haiti.  Jim, a United Nations employee,  was the brother to Nova Lee Coates Drover, RSW, (St. John’s) a member of AAHP.

On behalf of the Executive, Board, members and Staff of AAHP, I would like to extend our most sincere sympathies to Nova Lee and her family at this sorrowful time.
